Praying Mantis
|
Praying Mantises are used as a PET, a SCIENCE EXPERIMENT or as a BENEFICIAL GARDEN FRIEND that will hunt down and eat pests such as aphids, worms and grubs.
The Egg Case shown here is the place to start. Unless you're setting them free in the garden, you'll also need a place to house your friends and food for them. You'll find it all here.
We offer a full line of praying mantis supplies, including enclosures and kits on our website, Praying Mantis Shop - www.PrayingMantisShop.com Please visit!

Praying Mantis Egg Case
Each case hatches over 100 Mantises Each!
Mantises will hatch after 4-6 weeks of warm weather. We recommend either hanging the egg case in a shady area of your garden among the plant foliage OR keeping the egg case in one of our praying mantis enclosures.
It is important that you have food on hand when the egg case hatches. Here at The Praying Mantis Shop, we stock a full line of living praying mantis food, from food for newborns to food for mature adults. Once you've ordered your egg case, you'll find the food on the menu to the left

Praying Mantis Living Juvenile
Praying mantis juveniles are 1-2 months old and around 1 inch long or more. We offer both the Chinese (Tenodera sinensis) and Carolina (Stagmomantis carolina) praying
mantis juveniles. We will send you 2 for each 1 you order in case one dies during shipment (except for the kits with live mantids, which come with two total).
Both will most likely be fine when you receive them.
Please have food on hand when your new pets arrive. We recommend the d. Hydei wingless fruit flies along with other supplements such as silkworms (see menu to right).
